GELIM s.r.l. owns a complex built around the seventies and located south of the metropolitan area, in a prime position for ease of connections. It benefits from the proximity to Fontanarossa International Airport and the infrastructure services axis that ensures fast connections to the highway networks to and from Palermo, Siracusa and Messina.

The Eighth Street represents the focal point and the most productive operational lung for the Industrial Zone: a recent census identifies the presence of about 600 companies in the industrial area (cf. www.asicatania.it). The Complex of GELIM covers a total area of 30,757.00 sqm, of which 6,670.00 sqm are covered, 6,190.00 sqm are buildable areas, 2,955.00 sqm are green areas, and the remaining 14,942.00 sqm are designated for parking and/or roads. Currently, it houses, with direct exposure to a public road (8th street), the offices of PP.TT., the Break – Café (self-service refreshment point), a Newsagent - Stationery - Tobacco shop, with an adjacent real estate portion facing the street structurally and functionally suitable for shops for commercial use.

The real estate complex consists of six buildings, some for office use, others for production and commercial use, and finally some used as warehouses. The complex, for the most part, was renovated around the year 2005, continuous improvements are made to comply with current regulations and the needs of the various tenants.
The buildings are constructed with reinforced concrete structure and infill masonry in concrete; the roof is semi-cylindrical, the facades are made with traditional plaster and resin plastic finishes.
